Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieser Beitrag entwickelt anhand eines Fallbeispiels Hypothesen, warum wohlfahrtsteigernde Innovationen unterbleiben und die sozial-ökologische Transformation trotz einer hohen Dringlichkeit kaum voranschreitet. Das Fallbeispiel ist der Vorschlag, eine urbane Seilbahn in der Stadt Bochum einzuführen. In vielen deutschen Städten wird oder wurde der Bau von Seilbahnen diskutiert, jedoch wurde bis auf die Ausnahme Koblenz bisher kein Konzept realisiert. In diesem Beitrag werden mögliche Hindernisse systematisiert und beschrieben. Das Ziel ist es, eine Grundlage für eine empirische Untersuchung zu schaffen, die die Relevanz der möglichen Hindernisse bewertet.
