Abstract

Zusammenfassung Dieses Buch wirft im Kern die Frage nach der Bedeutung von Arbeit auf. Geht es dabei ausschließlich um einen Tausch von Leistung gegen Geld? Oder steckt da mehr dahinter? Wir verstehen Arbeit als einen Ort der Wertschöpfung und als einen Ort an dem Menschen Erfüllung, Zufriedenheit und Zugehörigkeit erleben können. Unsere zunehmend dynamische Leistungsgesellschaft birgt das Risiko, dass der Fokus allzu stark auf den Zahlen liegt und das Erleben in den Hintergrund rückt. Wir finden dann buchstäblich in der getriebenen operativen Hektik des Alltags die Möglichkeiten nicht mehr, uns füreinander zu interessieren und uns gegenseitig Raum zu lassen.
