Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Blockchain-Hype, der mit digitalen Währungen begann, löste in vielen Branchen eine Kettenreaktion aus, der Suche nach Lösungen, wie diese Technologie zu ihrem Vorteil eingesetzt werden kann. Drei Schlüsselaspekte jeder Blockchain – Rückverfolgbarkeit, Transparenz, Unveränderlichkeit – machen sie attraktiv als Voraussetzung für die Automatisierung der Supply Chain. Geschichte, Struktur und Funktionsweise von Blockchains im Supply Chain Management wird ergänzt um Smart Contracts und Due Diligence. Während sich die Due Diligence für Smart Contracts auf das Softwarequalitätsmanagement konzentriert, muss die Due Diligence für Blockchains in Supply Chains die Integrität und Verantwortung der damit verbundenen Produktions- und Handelspraktiken gewährleisten.
