Abstract

Zusammenfassung Durch die fortschreitenden Digitalisierungsprozesse nimmt die globale Informationstransparenz zu. Das erleichtert den Konsens der internationalen Gemeinschaft, dass sich unsere Welt gerade dramatische Veränderungen unterzieht, z. B. gefährliche Extremwetterereignisse durch den Klimawandel, nicht-nachhaltiger Verbrauch von Naturressourcen sowie zunehmende soziale Schere zwischen Reichen und Armen. Der zunehmende Einfluss der Verbraucherbewegung fordert einen deutlichen Beitrag von den Unternehmen, die Nachhaltigkeitsgedanken in ihre Geschäftstätigkeit zu integrieren.
