Abstract

Zusammenfassung Ein grundlegendes Problem in der beruflich-diagnostischen Arbeit besteht in der Frage, was man glauben kann von all dem, was uns Kandidaten/Mitarbeiter berichten. Dies gilt für den Richter, einen Arzt und für eine Führungskraft oder einen HR-Kollegen. Wir sind letztlich begrenzt auskunftsfähig über uns. Wir brauchen positive Illusionen für eine gesunde Psyche. So ist verständlich, dass Menschen sich mehr positive als negative Eigenschaften zuschreiben, wir sind in überragendem Maße überzeugt, moralisch und empathisch zu sein. Es werden Fortschritte wahrgenommen, wo keine sind. Wir unterliegen der Kontrollillusion, glauben größeren Einfluss auf Ereignisse und Sachverhalte zu haben, als es tatsächlich der Fall ist.
