Russland-Energieimport-Boykott durch Deutschland und die EU als Politikoption?

Abstract

Zusammenfassung Seitens mehrerer Wissenschaftler ist in einer Studie vom März 2022 untersucht worden, wie sich ein denkbarer Russland-Energieimport-Boykott durch Deutschland auf die Wirtschaft in Deutschland auswirken werde (Bachmann et al., 2022) – ein Rückgang des realen Bruttoinlandsproduktes um 0,5 bis (quasi gerundet) 3% wird dabei erwartet. Gegenüber dem Rückgang des Bruttoinlandsproduktes um 4,5% in Deutschland in der Corona-Rezession 2020 erscheint das zunächst als ein erträglicher Preis für eine intendierte Schwächung der Wirtschaft Russlands und seiner Fähigkeit, die Militärausgaben zu erhöhen und den Angriffskrieg gegen die Ukraine fortzuführen. Man sollte allerdings bedenken, dass Russland einem Boykott bei den Energieimporten durch Deutschland seinerseits durch einen teilweisen oder vollständigen Lieferboykott bei Öl, Gas, Kohle und Getreide zuvorkommen könnte und Russland im Übrigen nicht länger in Deutschland absetzbare Mengen an Öl, Gas und Kohle mit Preisabschlägen im Rest der Weltwirtschaft verkaufen kann.
