Abstract

Zusammenfassung Seit Ende der 1980er-Jahre häufen sich die Veränderungen, die positive und negative Folgen für Konsumenten und damit für Versicherungskunden haben. Einerseits stellt die Globalisierung eine Ursache des wirtschaftlichen Wandels dar, andererseits hat sich das Kommunikations- und Konsumentenverhalten der Menschen mit dem zunehmenden Gebrauch des Internets und der mobilen Telefonie verändert. Mittlerweile ist die Digitalisierung zu einer nicht mehr wegzudenkenden Größe geworden. Darüber hinaus haben Krisen erdrutschartige Veränderungen in Politik und Gesellschaft verursacht. Hervorzuheben ist zum einen die Bankenkrise aus dem Jahr 2007, deren Echo als Schulden-, Immobilien- und Zinskrise bis heute nachhallt.
