Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Koordination von Planung und Kontrolle mit der Steuerung der Informationsversorgung wird in der Arztpraxis durch das Controlling wahrgenommen. Es besteht somit nicht nur aus der Tätigkeit des Kontrollierens und der Wahrnehmung von Kontrollfunktionen im laufenden Praxisgeschehen. Das Controlling hat als Aufgabe, die Entscheidungsträger in der Arztpraxis mit Informationen zu versorgen, die für die Planung, Steuerung und Kontrolle des Praxisbetriebs erforderlich sind. Dazu werden in diesem Kapitel vergleichende Controllinginstrumente und Möglichkeiten zur Steuerung mit Praxiskennzahlen aufgezeigt. Eng verbunden mit dem Controlling ist das Risiko- und Krisenmanagement der Arztpraxis. Hierfür sind Schutzziele zu definieren und die erforderlichen Kontrollmechanismen in Form von Risiko- und Krisenmanagementsystemen für die Arztpraxis in die betrieblichen Abläufe zu integrieren.
