Abstract

Zusammenfassung Betriebswirtschaftlich wird der Begriff der Krise als Zustand eines Unternehmens definiert, der seine LebensfähigkeitLebensfähigkeit infrage stellt. Es handelt sich um einen ungewollten Prozess, in dessen Verlauf die Erfolgspotenziale, das ReinvermögenReinvermögen und/oder die Liquidität des Unternehmens sich so ungünstig entwickelt haben, dass seine Existenz akut bedroht ist. Im rechtlichen Sinn wird die Krise insbesondere durch die insolvenzrechtlichen Begriffe der Zahlungsunfähigkeit und Überschuldung geprägt. Zum weiteren Verständnis ist es wichtig, Krisenstadien, Krisenverlauf und Möglichkeiten der Krisenfrüherkennung näher zu veranschaulichen.
