Abstract

With RPA, a new digitalization technology for the automation of processes in financial and management accounting is currently establishing itself on the market. Unlike previous automation solutions, RPA can be implemented relatively quickly and cost-effectively, in some cases without in-depth programming knowledge. Therefore, the increasing use of RPA in companies in the context of financial and management accounting comes as little surprise. For many companies, RPA seems to be a credible answer to the increasing pressure on efficiency that finance and accounting departments in companies are facing.
