Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Schweiz mit ihrer Nähe zur Lombardei wurde früh in den Strudel der Pandemie einbezogen. Wesentliche Kennzeichen im Vergleich zum Ausland sind eine hohe Übersterblichkeit in der ersten Welle, relativ geringe, aber kantonal unterschiedliche Einschränkungen, eine mäßige und kantonal unterschiedliche Impfquote, eine gute wirtschaftliche Erholung und ein enormer Digitalisierungsbedarf im Gesundheitswesen. Die Einschränkungen wurden vom Souverän in zwei Volksabstimmungen mit großer Zustimmung legitimiert. Der Bundesrat und die Kantonsregierungen sind nun gefordert, die für die Digitalisierung im Gesundheitswesen notwendigen Ressourcen bereitzustellen.
