Abstract

Zusammenfassung Nachdem sein einziger Sohn Oskar bei der Fremdenlegion in Algier an Typhus gestorben war, sah List für sich selbst und seine Familie keine weitere Möglichkeit, länger in Paris zu verweilen. Zunächst zog es ihn wieder nach Leipzig zurück. Von dort aus begab er sich in die thüringischen Staaten mit der selbstgestellten Absicht, diese bei ihren Eisenbahnplänen zu beraten.
