Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Judenverfolgung und der Judenhass bilden seit dem frühen Mittelalter eines der dunkelsten Kapitel der deutschen Geschichte. Diese haben im Dritten Reich mit dem damaligen Irrglauben an die Herrenrasse und den Herrendünkel im daraus resultierenden Holocaust ihre schlimmsten Progome erlebt. Aber sowohl vorher, als auch danach, hat die Diskriminierung der Juden eine lange Geschichte. Einzelne schockierende Verbrechen und Vorkommnisse in der Gegenwart belegen, dass es im rechten Rand unserer Gesellschaft immer noch ewig gestrige gibt, die von Abneigung oder Hass erfüllt sind und dies mehr oder weniger unverblümt zum Ausdruck bringen.
