Abstract

Zusammenfassung Von den zeitgenössischen Politikern wird zurecht immer wieder daran erinnert, welch hohes Gut die Demokratie in unserer Gesellschaft darstellt und dass diese stets aufs Neue eingefordert und dafür gekämpft werden muss. Angesichts der Corona-Epidemie erleben wir, wie labil unsere Demokratie ist und wie sie von extremen Gruppen, wie die Querdenker- oder die Pegidabewegung bedroht ist, die vorgeben, das Volk zu sein, in Wirklichkeit aber nur eine Minderheit darstellen, die der Mehrheit ihren Willen aufzwingen will; von gewaltbereiten Terroristen, Hasspredigern, Verschwörungstheoretikern, Antisemiten und Rassenfanatikern ganz abgesehen.
