Abstract

Zusammenfassung Einer der vielen Prozessbereiche, die für die Implementierung von Robotic Process Automation (RPA) geeignet sind, ist die Logistik. Die Vorteile der Anwendung von RPA in der Logistik sind vielfältig. Sie reichen von der zunehmenden Genauigkeit und Geschwindigkeit der Prozessausführung bis zur verbesserten Compliance. Zudem ermöglicht die Automatisierung von Routineaufgaben den Mitarbeitern, sich auf stärker wertschöpfende Tätigkeiten zu fokussieren. Dieser Beitrag stellt ein praxisorientiertes Vorgehensmodell vor, das Unternehmen als Leitfaden für die Einführung von RPA in der Logistik dienen kann. Für die RPA-Implementierung werden die erforderlichen Prozessschritte systematisch untergliedert und zugehörige Aktivitäten, Methoden und Erfolgsfaktoren beschrieben. Konkret umfasst das Modell die Phasen Initiierung, Pilotierung, Implementierung und fortlaufende Steuerung, Wartung und Verbesserung. Der Leitfaden basiert auf den Erkenntnissen einer breiten Literaturrecherche und Fallstudien aus der Praxis.
