Abstract

Zusammenfassung Engagierte und hoch motivierte Mitarbeiter:innen sind der Schlüssel zum Erfolg Ihres Unternehmens und der Traum einer jeden Führungskraft. Laut Studien profitieren Unternehmen mit einer hoch engagierten Belegschaft sogar von einer erhöhten Produktivität und Profitabilität. Dabei ist ein weitverbreitetes Missverständnis, dass eine Belohnung immer eine motivierende Wirkung hat. Viel wichtiger als die extrinsische Motivation ist es, die intrinsische Motivation der Mitarbeiter:innen zu fördern. Dafür müssen Führungskräfte sicherstellen, die vier psychologischen Grundbedürfnisse durch konkrete Maßnahmen zeitgleich zu erfüllen.
