Abstract

Zusammenfassung Viele Unternehmensberatungen schreiben sich das Thema Entwicklung von Geschäftsmodellen als Kernkompetenz auf die Fahne. Doch die meisten Mittelständler haben bereits ein bestehendes Geschäftsmodell. Nicht immer nachhaltig erfolgreich, jedoch insofern belastbar, dass es per Außenwahrnehmung zum Aufbau eines Unternehmens gereicht hat. Dennoch gibt es zahllose Beispiele aus der Wirtschaft, die zeigen, dass manche Unternehmen einfach von der Bildfläche verschwinden oder einen großen Teil ihres Wettbewerbsvorteils verlieren. Aus diesen Ängsten entsteht sehr häufig die Frage nach einem stringenten Prozess, um bestehende Geschäftsmodelle zukunftssicher zu machen.
