Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Markup wird über Preise und Kosten definiert. Deshalb sind Preisentwicklungen von hohem Interesse, wenn es um den Markup geht. Im Mittelpunkt steht hierbei die Inflation, oft bestimmt durch den Verbraucherpreisindex. Das Buch berichtet über die Inflationsziele und tatsächlichen Inflationsraten einiger beispielhafter Länder, u. a. mit einem gesonderten Blick auf die Ukraine und Russland. Begriffe wie Geldmenge, Kaufkraft, Realzinssatz, Nachfrage, Inflationserwartung, Hyperinflation, Arbeitslosigkeit und Wechselkurs werden mit der Inflation in Beziehung gesetzt. Die Markups werden durch die Inflation und die Wechselkurse beeinflusst und umgekehrt.
