Abstract

Zusammenfassung Neueste Entwicklungen der ökonomischen Ideengeschichte zeigen einen verstärkten Fokus auf unterschiedliche Themen: Joseph Stiglitz, US-amerikanischer Ökonom und Träger des Alfred-Nobel-Gedächtnispreises für Wirtschaftswissenschaften, prangert u. a. die Fehlentwicklungen der Globalisierung und die wachsenden Ungleichheit an. Amartya Sen, ebenfalls Träger dieses Preises, und weitere, in der Folge aufgeführte Ökonomen plädieren für eine menschlichere Ökonomie, die den Solidargedanken stärker in den Fokus rückt. Die US-Ökonomen Daniel Kahneman und Richard Thaler schließlich führen mit der Verhaltensökonomie die Idee eines realistischeren Menschenbildes ein, ergänzt um psychologische Komponenten.
