Abstract

Zusammenfassung Grundsätzlich gibt es keinen Unterschied im Einsatz von strategischer Planung in Familienunternehmen und Nicht-Familienunternehmen. Die homogenere Eigentümerstruktur sowie der in der Regel deutlich stärkere Bezug der Eigentümer zum Unternehmen erfordern jedoch spezifische Regelungen zu deren Einbindung im Strategieprozess. Wie kann die Abstimmung zwischen Prinzipal und Agenten bezüglich der strategischen Planung ablaufen? Eine entsprechende Corporate Governance hilft dabei, die besonderen Anforderungen aus der Eigentümerstruktur von Familiengesellschaften zum Vorteil zu nutzen. Mit schnellen und nachhaltigen Entscheidungen kann sich das Familienunternehmen auch in heutigen Zeiten bestens am Markt behaupten – zum Wohle der Beschäftigten und der Eigentümerfamilie.
