Abstract

Zusammenfassung Obwohl nur ein Bruchteil der Fälle an die Öffentlichkeit gelangt, mehren sich auch im deutschsprachigen Raum die Medienberichte über Cyberangriffe. Viele Unternehmen sind auf derartige Bedrohungsszenarien nicht ausreichend vorbereitet. Immer wieder sind einzelne Geschäftsführer oder Eigentümer der Meinung, man sei potenziell nicht betroffen, oder die eigene IT-Abteilung versichert mangels ausreichend Expertise oder eigener Beschäftigung mit dem Thema, dass man ausreichend geschützt sei. Beides sind potenziell teure Irrtümer, auch wenn es schwierig ist, die Kosten für einen Cybervorfall pro Unternehmen zu berechnen oder zu schätzen. Viel wichtiger ist allerdings, zu akzeptieren, dass jedes Unternehmen potenzielles Ziel eines Angriffs ist und sich aus diesem Verständnis heraus, entsprechend vorzubereiten. Aus langjähriger Praxiserfahrung stellen wir eine Kombination aus Maßnahmen vor, die zum einen auf die Technologie, zum anderen auf den Faktor Mensch abzielen.
