Abstract

Zusammenfassung Jedes Unternehmen muss sich letztendlich mit den Grundsätzen der Unternehmensführung, seiner Governance befassen, also der Gesamtheit aller Vorschriften, Werte und Grundsätze, die eine Unternehmensführung ausmachen. Dem CFO als „Wächter“ einer guten, zukunftsorientierten, verantwortungsvollen Governance kommt dabei eine gewisse Schlüsselrolle zu. Ein zentrales Element guter Governance ist Transparenz sowohl innerhalb des Unternehmens als auch gegenüber externer Stakeholder und der Öffentlichkeit. Definiert ein CFO seinen Aufgabenbereich, ist aus Sicht der finanziellen Führung die Verbesserung der Transparenz im umfassenden Sinne die zentrale Aufgabe und der erste Schritt für einen Systemdurchbruch (vgl. Abb. 2.1)
