Abstract

Zusammenfassung Emotionen sind der Motor, der uns antreibt. Bei jedem von uns sitzt ein kleiner Barkeeper (oder eine Barkeeperin) im Kopf und mixt unsere Hormone je nach Anforderung zusammen. Wie der Cocktail ausfällt, ist auch von Umweltreizen abhängig. Doch weil Hormonausschüttungen nicht nur unbewusst geschehen, sondern sich auch gezielt auslösen lassen, haben wir die Chance, unsere Emotionen bewusst zu steuern und ihre Kraft positiv zu nutzen. Mentaltraining hilft unserem Barpersonal dabei, den richtigen Mix in der jeweiligen Situation zusammenzustellen und damit den gewünschten Zustand nicht nur energetisch, sondern auch rational und emotional herzustellen. Positive Emotionen vermindern zum Beispiel unseren Stress, unterstützen unsere Erholung, optimieren unsere Informationsverarbeitung, beschleunigen unser Lernen und erhöhen unsere Kreativität (nach Prof. Sigurd Baumann). Doch wie lassen sich Emotionen regulieren?
