Abstract

Zusammenfassung Wir leben in einer VUCA-Welt – einer Welt, die geprägt ist von Volatilität (Unbeständigkeit), Unsicherheit, Komplexität (complexity) und Ambiguität (Mehrdeutigkeit). Megatrends, wie beispielsweise die Digitalisierung, erfordern ein konsequentes Umdenken in den Unternehmen, damit diese auch weiterhin erfolgreich am Markt agieren können. Aufgrund der disruptiven Veränderungen unserer Zeit braucht es mehr denn je Modelle, die den Unternehmen helfen, mit diesen Veränderungen wirksam und effizient umzugehen, und die flexibel einsetzbar sind. Eine hervorragende Möglichkeit, um auf die Herausforderungen der VUCA-Welt zu reagieren, ist der Enterprise Transformation Cycle. Er bietet Flexibilität, Anpassungsfähigkeit aber auch Klarheit und Einfachheit und das alles unter Einbeziehung der kulturellen Besonderheiten der Unternehmen. Der Enterprise Transformation Cycle wurde in den letzten 15 Jahren in unzähligen Projekten erprobt und verfeinert. Der folgende Beitrag beschreibt dieses Modell und die dahinterliegenden Überlegungen im Kontext einer erfolgreichen (digitalen) Unternehmenstransformation.
