Abstract

Zusammenfassung Betrachtet man die menschliche Evolution über einen sehr langen Zeitraum, so nehmen Wissen und Können des Individuums ständig ab, während Menschen in Gruppen immer mehr zu leisten vermögen. Das Individuum ist heute zwar häufig Spezialist in einem winzigen Teilgebiet, wäre aber nicht mehr in der Lage, allein in der Wildnis zu überleben. Ist damit der allmähliche Weg in die Verdummung vorgezeichnet? Oder ist Nichtwissen ein fairer Preis für einen Gewinn an Freiheit und Selbstbestimmung? Sobald wir uns auf die Frage besinnen, wozu Erwerbsarbeit überhaupt dienen soll, finden wir Antworten.
