Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das Tolle an einer Geburt ist, dass man den Termin bis auf den Tag genau vorherbestimmen kann – zumindest der Theorie nach. Denn aus dem Studium diverser Geburtsratgeber und eigenen Beobachtungen im Freundes- und Bekanntenkreis weiß Dirk, dass sich Föten selten an den von der ärztlichen Autorität skizzierten Zeitplan halten. Vor diesem Hintergrund sieht Dirk sich veranlasst, den Eintrittszeitpunkt des Ereignisses „Geburt Emil“ mit Hilfe der Hazard-Raten-Analyse zu berechnen, die pikanterweise auch als Überlebenszeitanalyse bezeichnet wird und ursprünglich zur Prognose nicht ganz so freudiger Ereignisse entwickelt wurde.
