Abstract

Zusammenfassung In Theorie und Praxis existiert eine Vielzahl von Empfehlungen im Hinblick auf die spezifische Ausgestaltung von Controllingsystemen für in klassischen Industrie- und Dienstleistungsbereichen tätige Unternehmen. Aufgrund des Fehlens vorliegender Vergangenheitsdaten, der Existenz zumeist hoher immaterieller Vermögenswerte und einer geringen Finanzkraft sind derartige bestehende Empfehlungen für innovative Unternehmen wie bspw. Start-Ups jedoch wenig aussagekräftig. Dieser Beitrag diskutiert vor dem Hintergrund einer Venture Capital-Finanzierung Anforderungen an das Controllingsystem von Start-Ups und schließt mit Implikationen bezüglich der Ausgestaltung für die Praxis ab.
