Abstract

Zusammenfassung In diesem Kapitel werfen wir einen Blick auf Karriere und Kultur: Welches Bild herrscht in unserer Gesellschaft vor, wenn wir an Karriere denken? Welche Metaphern verbinden wir mit Erfolg? Welche Karrierefragen tauchen in verschiedenen Lebensphasen auf? Die Bilder, Metaphern und Gedanken sind unterschiedlich, so unterschiedlich, wie wir als Persönlichkeiten sind und in welchem Kontext wir uns gerade befinden. Verschiedene Reflexionsfragen und Impulse dienen als Mutmacher zur ganzheitlichen Gestaltung des eigenen Karriereweges, auf Basis der individuellen Stärken. Besonders am Herzen liegt Tanja Eggers der Karriereblick hinter die Kulissen, geprägt durch den Schlaganfall ihres Mannes. Beide geben sehr berührende Einblicke rund um das Erleben dieses Schicksalsschlags, wenn plötzlich alles schlagartig anders ist – direkt aus Sicht des Betroffenen, aus Sicht der Partnerin, aus Sicht der professionellen Coach – mit dem Ziel der Sensibilisierung für eine gesunde Performance. Es ist Zeit für Tabubrüche, es ist Zeit, über Schicksalsschläge zu reden, es ist Zeit für einen Perspektivwechsel.
