Abstract

Zusammenfassung Notaufnahmen sind nicht nur eigenständige notfallmedizinische Dienstleister, sondern stellen für Patienten auch sehr wichtige Zutrittspforten in den stationären Bereich von Krankenhäusern dar und verfügen über zahlreiche interne und externe Schnittstellen. Die Gefährdung von Patienten ist häufig auf eine unzureichende Standardisierung und Schnittstellenorientierung zurückzuführen. Eine kontinuierliche Prozessoptimierung mit digitaler Unterstützung ist ein wesentlicher Erfolgsfaktor; ebenso können innovative Führungsstrukturen zu einer Verbesserung der Patientensicherheit beitragen.
