Abstract

Zusammenfassung Patientensicherheit ist ein hochaktuelles Thema, das im Medizinstudium bisher kaum verankert ist. Es ist deshalb zwingend, Medizinstudierende im Praktischen Jahr (PJ) und in der ärztlichen Weiterbildung mit Fragen der Patientensicherheit vertraut zu machen. Dazu bedarf es der Qualifizierung des betreuenden ärztlichen Personals. Patientensicherheit muss ebenfalls wichtiges Thema für Beauftragte für Patientensicherheit sein, die im Krankenhaus als „Kümmerer“ Patienten betreuen. Das hier im Umriss vorgestellte Studienprogramm vermittelt darauf bezogene Inhalte. Bescheinigt wird der erfolgreiche Abschluss durch ein Hochschulzertifikat.
