Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das Klimaproblem ist weit davon entfernt, gelöst zu sein. Viele Experten gehen davon aus, dass eine Begrenzung der Klimaerwärmung weltweit auf 1,5–2 Grad nicht mehr zu erreichen ist, realistisch sind vielmehr 3–4 Grad. Der große Spagat liegt darin, den Schwellenländern trotz Klimamaßnahmen die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung zu ermöglichen und in den reichen Ländern das erreichte Wohlstandsniveau einigermaßen zu halten. Dafür braucht es Geld – viel Geld. Und wie immer zeigt sich letztlich die Ernsthaftigkeit eines Anliegens in der Bereitschaft, dafür Geld bereitzustellen.
