Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Vor- und Nachteile der bisher bekannten und dominierenden Kernkraftwerke mit auf rund 4,8 % angereichertem spaltbaren Uran U235 werden diskutiert: Dies auf dem Hintergrund politischer Prozesse und Unfälle (Harrisburg 1979; Tschernobyl 1986; Fukushima 2011). Auf derzeit diskutierte „völlig neue“ Reaktorlinien und auf die „Kernfusion“ (welche seit über 50 Jahren genau 20 Jahre später verfügbar sein sollte) wird nicht eingegangen. Der Autor verweist stattdessen auf nach wie vor ungelöste Probleme einer langfristigen Kernenergie-Nutzung.
