Abstract

Zusammenfassung Medien berichten selten kompetent über Sachverhalte der Energiewende. Dies betrifft populäre Talkshows mit drittklassigen Energieökonom*innen und Schauspielern als „Fachleute“ genauso wie Zeitungsredaktionen, die über phantastische Schnell-Ladetechniken berichten (à 165 kW): Wenn nur 6 derartige Autos gleichzeitig laden, steigt die abendliche Last um 1 MW, logischerweise bei nur 60.000 (= 0,6 % von 10 Millionen E-Autos) um 10.000 MW, was etwa 8 großen Kernkraftwerken entspricht. Von der Stromerzeugung für diese Autos spricht die Zeitung nicht. Ähnlich dubiose Pseudowahrheiten verbreitet WIKIPEDIA unter den Stichworten zur Energiewende. Beim Googeln von „Dunkelflaute“ und ähnlichen Schlagwörtern im Jahre 2021 wimmelte es von gravierenden sachlichen Fehlern. Die Autoren verbergen sich hinter anonymen „Künstlernamen“. Die Öffentlichkeit hat kaum Chancen, sich sachlich fundiert zu informieren, was in einer Demokratie sehr negativ ist.
