Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das Ziel dieses Buchkapitels besteht darin, eine Übersicht über ausgewählte XR- Anwendungen im Bereich der öffentlichen Verwaltung zu geben. Die zum Verständnis notwendigen Begriffe und Konzepte zur XR werden kurz eingeführt, bevor konkrete Beispiele dieser Technologie vorgestellt werden. Diese Praxisbeispiele sollen Sie als Leserinnen und Leser inspirieren und damit Ideen für weitere XR-Anwendungen geben. Technologie allein ergibt keine Anwendung. Dafür braucht es Branchen-Know-How und innovative Personen, welche Diskussionen sowie Pilotprojekte initiieren, um Mehrwerte durch den Einsatz dieser Technologie zu schaffen. Durch Einbezug von Domänenwissen und Kontext werden mehrwertstiftende Lösungen erstellt, die dadurch auf Akzeptanz stossen, was erfolgsrelevant ist.
