Abstract

Zusammenfassung Vielleicht denkst du dir: Okay, ich verstehe nun so einigermaßen, warum sich so viel geändert hat, aber ab wann wird denn alles wieder normal? Wann wird sich das Veränderungstempo verlangsamen? Die ernüchternde Antwort: Gar nicht! Denn wir stehen gerade erst am Anfang einer Entwicklung, deren Ende wir nicht absehen können. Den Hockeystick-Effekt kennst du ja schon. Dort befinden wir uns erst im unteren Abschnitt. Warum? Weil sich alle genannten Entwicklungen fortsetzen werden. Die „guten alten Zeiten“ wird es also nicht mehr geben. Ralf Kleber, Chef von Amazon Deutschland, drückt dies metaphorisch so aus: „Wenn die Digitalisierung ein Restaurantbesuch wäre, dann wären wir gerade beim Gruß aus der Küche“ (zitiert nach Salden et al., 2017).
