Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die vom GCB German Convention Bureau e.V. initiierte Veranstaltung „BOCOM – Experience Borderless Communication“ am 3. September 2020 war der erste hybride und räumlich-verteilte Kongress, der wissenschaftlich evaluiert wurde. Im Fokus stand der ganzheitliche Blick auf das Thema Nachhaltigkeit – von der ökologischen Nachhaltigkeitsperformance der Veranstaltung bis hin zu den Auswirkungen des Formates auf die Erfahrungen der Teilnehmer*innen, etwa im Hinblick auf Wissenstransfer oder Netzwerken. Der folgende Beitrag gibt einen Einblick in das Forschungsdesign sowie die zentralen Erkenntnisse der vom Fraunhofer Institut für Arbeitswirtschaft und Organisation IAO und CO2OL, einem Spezialisten für betrieblichen Klimaschutz umgesetzten Evaluation.
