Abstract

Zusammenfassung Digitalisierung und Nachhaltigkeit sind zwei Megatrends, die jeweils hohe Aufmerksamkeit erzielen, aber noch zu wenig gemeinsam gedacht werden. Die Digitalisierung von Veranstaltungen hat gerade durch die Coronakrise einen erheblichen Schub erhalten. Der Nachhaltigkeitsgedanke ist dabei etwas in den Hintergrund geraten. Es bieten sich viele Chancen, Nachhaltigkeit und Digitalisierung zusammen zu denken und daraus neue Konzepte für Veranstaltungen zu entwickeln (Große Ophoff et al. 2020).
