Abstract

Zusammenfassung Der Nachhaltigkeitsansatz verbindet sich allein schon historisch sehr eng mit der Leipziger Messe. Geschäftsführer Markus Geisenberger zeigt, wie die Messegesellschaft ihren humanen Wertekanon und ihre gesellschaftliche Verantwortung heute strategisch ausgestaltet und umsetzt. Dabei spielen Messbarkeit und Zertifikate wie der „Green Globe“ genauso eine Schlüsselrolle wie die operative Ausgestaltung und das tagtägliche betriebliche Leben von Nachhaltigkeit im ökologischen wie sozialen und betriebswirtschaftlichen Raum. Denn eines ist klar: Nachhaltigkeit – Corporate Social Responsibility ist nicht nur ein gesellschaftliches Muss. Sie ist auch Garant für den künftigen unternehmerischen Erfolg
