Abstract

Разразившаяся в начале 2020 года пандемия коронавируса оказывает серьезное воздействие на мировую экономику за счет широкомасштабного замедления общественной жизни. Глобальное сокращение объемов производства привело к значительному падению на рынке капитала. Событийный анализ, проведенный в данной работе, позволяет понять, как пандемия меняет реакцию рынка на дополнительное размещение акций. Нами были проанализированы статистические данные о совокупной аномальной доходности 178 компаний из Европы и США, которые объявили об увеличении акционерного капитала после 20 февраля 2020 года. Результаты демонстрируют отсутствие существенных изменений в реакции рынка, связанных с пандемией. При этом на значения аномальной доходности серьезно влияют другие дополнительные факторы: отрасль, рынок, момент объявления о размещении и выбор ускоренного способа размещения акций.
