Zusammenfassung Um das Wort »Privathotel« zu definieren und eine Abgrenzung zur Kettenhotellerie zu schaffen, muss zuerst der Begriff »Hotel« erläutert werden. Der Deutsche Hotel- und Gaststättenverband (DEHOGA) versteht in Anlehnung an die internationale Terminologienorm DIN EN ISO 18513 Folgendes darunter: »Ein Hotel ist ein Beherbergungsbetrieb, in dem eine Rezeption, Dienstleistungen, tägliche Zimmerreinigung, zusätzliche Einrichtungen und mindestens ein Restaurant für Hausgäste und Passanten angeboten werden.
