Abstract

Zusammenfassung China zeichnet sich durch enorme Dynamik, ethnische und religiöse Vielfalt aus – doch die regionalen Unterschiede sind manchmal gravierend: Die Dynamik, die das moderne China ausmacht, sucht man zum Beispiel vergebens in den Dörfern auf dem Land. Dementsprechend setzt die chinesische Regierung alles darauf, Stabilität durch Integration der zahlreichen Teile des „China-Puzzles“ zu bewirken. Vor allem riesigen Investitionen in Infrastrukturprojekte wie den Schienenverkehr integrieren jetzt schon die verschiedenen Regionen des Landes viel besser – aber es gibt weiterhin viel zu tun. Immer im Namen der Stabilität.
