Abstract

Zusammenfassung In der Universitätsmedizin Mannheim (UMM) verstehen wir unter digitaler Transformation keineswegs die Abbildung von IST-Prozessen. Sie ist kein Selbstzweck, sondern dient dem jeweiligen Use Case. Eine zentrale und einheitliche Dateninfrastruktur ist die Voraussetzung, Daten interoperabel nutzen zu können. Die Herausforderung bestand darin, zunächst die diversen Subsysteme, dezentralen Laufwerke, Altdaten und Importprozesse in unserem neuen Archivsystem zu zentralisieren; sie dort medienübergreifend zu konsolidieren. Erst mit dieser Datenkompetenz i. V. m. den neuen digitalen Prozess-Modulbausteinen konnten wir die MD-Kommunikation bzw. die Privatliquidation optimieren. Auf diesem Weg haben wir nicht weniger als einen System- und Paradigmenwechseln vollzogen. Dabei hatten wir zudem andere Externalitäten wie das Krankenhauszukunftsgesetz (KHZG), die Telematikinfrastruktur (TI) oder das MDK-Reformgesetz im Hinterkopf.
