Abstract

Zusammenfassung Zweistellige Prozentzahlen der Krankenhausrechnungen werden vom Medizinischen Dienst der Krankenversicherung (MD, vor 01.01.2020 MDK) im Auftrag der gesetzlichen Krankenkassen geprüft. Medien- und Kommunikationsbrüche führen bei der Bearbeitung der Prüffälle zu einem immensen Aufwand. Die Vorreiter in Sachsen beschlossen, diese Herausforderung besser zu meistern. Es sollte Schluss sein mit den fast täglichen Transporten von Kisten voller Patientenakten von Chemnitz nach Dresden: Wie kann ein Maximalversorger mit fast 70.000 stationären Fällen jährlich bei steigenden Prüfquoten seine argumentationsstützenden Akten dem MD mit weniger Aufwand bereitstellen? Das Klinikum Chemnitz hat eine Lösung gefunden – gemeinsam mit dem MD Sachsen, und strategischen Partnern aus der Industrie.
