Die Klinische Dokumentenklassen-Liste (KDL) als Werkzeug für die semantische Interoperabilität

Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die medizinische Dokumentation steht im Zentrum für verschiedenste Anwendungsfälle. Neben der gesetzlich verpflichtenden revisionssicheren Aufbewahrung zur Beweissicherung dient sie auch zur Qualitätssicherung, zur leistungsgerechten Abrechnung und für die klinische Forschung. Um eine qualitative Patientenversorgung zu gewährleisten, müssen die enthaltenen Informationen u. a. zeitnah und vollständig für weitere Behandler zur Verfügung gestellt werden. Bei den Leistungserbringern wird die Behandlungsdokumentation jedoch in einer heterogenen Dokumentenlandschaft gespeichert. Um diese elektronisch zu kommunizieren, sind entsprechende Ordnungssysteme notwendig. Die Klassifikation KDL ist speziell für die Klassierung medizinischer Dokumentation entwickelt worden und ein wichtiges Werkzeug für semantische Interoperabilität. Durch bestehende Mappingkonzepte zu den Value Sets DocumentEntry.classCode und DocumentEntry.typeCode des IHE-Profils XDS wird auch die organisatorische Interoperabilität unterstützt.
