Abstract

Zusammenfassung Aufgrund der vielfältigen Einsatzmöglichkeiten und der schnellen Implementierbarkeit erfreut sich HL7® FHIR®, der junge, webbasierte, internationale Standard für das Gesundheitswesen, inzwischen weltweit einer großen Beliebtheit bei Entwicklern sowie Spezifizierern und bietet eine moderne und nachhaltige Grundlage zur Entwicklung und Umsetzung von Digitalstrategien. Doch die schnelle Verbreitung und die hohe Komplexität der Anforderungen im Gesundheitswesen bringen auch Herausforderungen mit sich. Krankenhausmanager und IT-Leiter sollten daher die Möglichkeiten zum Einsatz von FHIR kennen und bei der Gestaltung ihrer Digitalstrategie (und bei der Bewertung möglicher IT Partner) beachten.
