Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das innovative Potenzial und die Innovationsaktivität vieler erfolgreicher mittelständischer Unternehmen sowie mittelständisch und branchenheterogen geprägter Regionen wird durch die gängigen Innovationsindikatoren nur sehr eindimensional beleuchtet. Häufig spielen hier vor allem die Anzahl von Patentanmeldungen oder die Summe von Forschungs- und Entwicklungsausgaben eine Rolle.
