Abstract

Zusammenfassung Einer der großen Vorzüge des Medianwählermodells besteht darin, dass es relativ einfach ist und eine leicht nachvollziehbare, intuitive Darstellung des politischen Wettbewerbs erlaubt. Wenn wir dieses Modell nicht weiterverwenden, weil seine Grundvoraussetzungen nicht mehr erfüllt sind, brauchen wir eine Alternative, die uns in ähnlicher Weise eine Strukturierung des Problems erlaubt und dabei hilft, die Gedanken zu sortieren. Es sind jetzt genug Vorüberlegungen angestellt worden, um einen Vorschlag für eine solche Alternative zu unterbreiten.
