Abstract

Zusammenfassung Das sense making derer, die in einer Demokratie letztlich das Sagen haben (das sind die wahlberechtigten Männer und Frauen) hat in aller Regel zum Ergebnis, dass sich Narrative herausbilden, die das individuelle Verständnis für ein politisch relevantes Problem bestimmen. Diese Narrative werden sorgsam geschützt, indem sichergestellt wird, dass störende Informationen, in Form von Fakten, Daten und dem Wissen über kausale Zusammenhänge, dem Narrativ nicht zu nahekommen können. Was macht das mit den anderen Akteuren, die im politischen Raum bedeutsam sind?
