Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Anfänge und die Institutionalisierung der Berufserziehung im deutschsprachigen Raum lassen sich im hohen Mittelalter verorten. Die mittelalterliche Gesellschaft kann in dieser Zeit als eine in drei Gruppen geteilte soziale Einheit aus Betenden, Kriegern und Arbeitenden verstanden werden. Erst in der Folge entstand die Gruppe der Lehrenden.
