Abstract

Zusammenfassung Die Formulierung des angestrebten gesellschaftlichen MehrwertsMehrwert, gesellschaftlicher ist der Ausgangspunkt der Strategie und kann gleichzeitig ein echter Hindernislauf sein. Viele Geber haben Mühe, auf Optionen und Entscheidungen in einem Bereich zu verzichten, wo es um Großzügigkeit und grenzenlose Möglichkeiten geht. Darüber hinaus beginnen viele Menschen ihre Philanthropie nur mit einem vagen Gefühl dafür, was ihre „philanthropische BerufungBerufung, philanthropische“ sein könnte. Der eigenen Philanthropie durch eine Definition von Werten und Mission eine Richtung und Struktur zu geben, kann daher herausfordernd sein.
